I’m sure we have had close seasons that have been shorter than the time between when United played last and the game with Huddersfield at St James’ Park.
Whilst we all need to be right behind Rafa and the players tomorrow there is another worthy cause that really needs our support and that is the Newcastle United Fans Foodbank.
There will be the now usual Foodbank collection in the usual spot on Strawberry Place opposite NINE Bar from 12:30 up to the 3pm KO.
We are told the Foodbank could really use the following items:
Tinned Fruit Rice Pudding and Custard
Tinned Fish
Tinned Soup
Long Life Milk
Sugar
Orange Dilute Juice.
Though I’m sure all items will be gratefully received. The Foodbank will also be grateful to take cash donations too.
Please support the Newcastle United Fans Foodbank. We do hear some Huddersfield fans who run a similar project will be making donations at our Foodbank tomorrow but obviously after three weeks without a home game, items are no doubt running short.
