Welcome to the true faith : VIDEO BLOG, the third of the season and this time featuring none other than our PODCAST stalwart and regular scribbler, Taylor Payne.
It was a bit nippy out in The Strawberry’s Beer Garden / Terrace in the early evening but troopers that we all are we kept at it and Martin Scorcese would be proud.
Anyway, in this VIDEO BLOG, Taylor talks about Pardew’s position, relegation, Papiss Cisse, Palace in the League Cup, Stoke away next Monday and Jonas.
Here it is:

What positive message would you have preferred? Everything’s going to be fine? Sorry but I can only say how I feel.
This video is pure scare-mongering. Nothing positive was said. Newcastle are not where they are in the league just because of our manager, it is because of our players and, more importantly, the owner who just doesn’t care. We will never be relegated with him as owner though as he will lose too much money from the Premier league and TV rights injection (compared to last time when we had higher wage-earners and lower premier league money). For as long as he owns the club, we will be mid-table at best and we should accept that, never will we challenge for champions league positions as it costs too much to do so. We just need to hope that Pardew takes enough pride in his work at Newcastle (in order to get another job at least) to go down swinging in his last few (dozen?) games as manager of such a great club.
