Ahead of the small matter of our annual trip down the road to Wearside we thought we’d record our very first pre-derby podcast with some Mackems.
So it was we headed for the gilded environs of our sponsors, Northern Threads in South Shields to meet up with Martyn 
McFadden and Sobs, editor and deputy editor respectively of the long-running and highly respected Sunderland fanzine, A Love Supreme.
Procedures were over-seen by The Chronicle’s new canny lad correspondent, Chris Waugh who kept us all in order and managed to move things along very well.
