The latest issue of TRUE FAITH is available to purchase now. TRUE FAITH is Newcastle United’s only hard-copy fanzine – providing The Alternative View from the Black & White planet and now in our fourth decade of publication.

This is our 155th issue since we started punting it outside St James’ Park for the first time in 1999. Since then the fanzine has grown in sales and prominence whilst extending to all kinds of different platforms which forms a presence within Newcastle United’s vibrant fan-led media. Even in the days of culture being consumed via a screen, plenty supporters love the tactile nature of a paper fanzine with the magic of staples (ahem) and brilliant design and lay-out. A bit like vinyl for the connoseuir of fan culture. We’re happy to report that despite the limited attractions of Bruce-ball, precious issues of the fanzine have all sold out this season.

But let us tell you about the fanzine. This is a hard-copy fanzine in the traditional style. It is 48-pages, A5, professionally designed and produced on high grade paper. It looks great and many readers keep their copies for years as cherished mementoes of their lives following Newcastle United.

All of the material in the fanzine is unique, fan-written content. Our writers come in all shapes and sizes and reflect the demographic of our support. But TRUE FAITH is emphatically rooted in Newcastle, Tyneside and the wider NE region – the place we love.

Details of how to get the fanzine is here

We’ve kept the cost of the fanzine as low as we can (£2:50) but so long as we sell enough then it washes its face with the print bill and we’re all happy.

You can get the fanzine in the old skool way of popping into a shop and handing over £2:50. The fanzine is on sale at:

M & M, Newsagents and Post office at the Haymarket end of Northumberland St in Newcastle city centre

and

CentrALE in Newcastle Central Station

The fanzine is also available in digital download format which works really well for fans overseas and avoids the slavver on with post and the P+P – you can get at it here

We are really grateful for your ongoing support and for helping us to to keep the fanzine going through dark days on and off the park.

This latest issue is edited by everyone’s favourite canny lass Charlotte Robson of this parish and she’s done another great job curating this latest masterpiece.
