Over the next 12 months we would really like to take a big step up in what we are 
doing’with’true faith.
All of the profit we hope to generate from the new DIGITAL fanzine, the merchandise we are now selling and existing advertising’will be re-invested into improving the fanzine, website, podcasts and video blogs.
We have ambitious plans’and see this as the new direction for fanzines and independent fan expression’given the vast potential afforded by the available technology. Developments in fanzine culture have always been driven by advances in technology. We at true faith would dearly love to be the pioneers of this new format and have Newcastle United fans leading the way.
Obviously, everything we have planned requires investment and unfortunately no-one associated with true faith has the kind of wedge to just lash out on a whim for the kit we need. This is and never will be a proper business – no-one would ever get a return from the time invested in it to justify that.
One of the ways we would like to generate income is through advertising.
We are keen to talk to anyone, for example who might want to sponsor our video blogs, podcasts, SATURDAY SPECIAL newsletters or just have space on this website or in the pages of the fanzine. Or everything.
This site for example generates a massive amount of traffic and is probably one of the biggest and best supporters’ fanzine sites in the country. We have a very large reach. That is a very useful opportunity for a growing business. Our current and previous sponsors will confirm the benefits of their association with us.
We can offer quite modest rates to suit most pockets and we’re really keen to develop opportunities for small businesses based in the North East but will’maintain our principles of working with ethical partners for our advertising. So, no loan sharks, porn or any of that stuff.
We are happy to continue offering advertising free of charge to the Men’s testicular charity, Check ‘Em Lads and of course the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.
