The club has announced that tickets for United’s away game to Liverpool on 14/Sep/19 KO 12:30pm (televised) are now on sale to all season ticket holders. Like the Norwich game there has been significantly reduced demand for this game attributable to the departure of Rafa Benitez as manager and the general Mike Ashley-shaped malaise around the club.

United has also announced that tickets for the away game at Spurs have sold out, though that fixture again didn’t attract the same excitement as it might have previously. Its expected exiled Mags in London and the soutyh might be taking the opportunity to visit Spurs’ impressive new stadium for the first time.

Helpfully the club have a piece via social media advising supporters travelling by rail to Spurs from Newcastle of difficulties.

fans are reminded there’ll be major railway upgrade work taking place on the East Coast rail route on the day of the game. There’ll be no trains south of Peterborough and trains will be diverted between Doncaster and Peterborough.
