Ian Murtagh of The Star reckons any deal to bring Stanley N’Soki to United from PSG will not involve Martin Dubravka going in the opposite direction. there has been separate talk about a new contract for the popular Slovakian goalie but only when the transfer window has closed which probably hasn’t gone down very well with the player and his agent and begs the question why? Click here for the full report.

Speculation about Dubravka is not helped by Bruce not selecting the best goalie we’ve had since Shay Given for the Preston game on Saturday gone and talk that Darlow will play at Hibs tomorrow night.

There have also been other reports detailing that the N’Soki deal is some way off even though a bid of around £9m has been agreed as well as a potential 20% sell on clause. As ever there is some hold-up about wages. Natch. N’Soki is a left-sided defender who it is speculated upon might be able to turn out at left-back.

This report also claims United have lodged an increased bid of £17m for Allan Saint-Maximin with his current club, Nice.

The transfer window will close on 7/Aug/19. United have currently signed one player for the first team squad over the window despite losing Perez, Joselu, Rondon and Diame – all of who have signed for other clubs.
