A so-called national newspaper is reporting that Irish central defender Ciaran Clark could be on the move to Crystal Palace with a fee of £5m speculated for the former Villa man. Clark is now 29 and although a well-regarded servant to United struggled to get into the first team last season.
It won’t be a good look if he is sold and there are no further replacements to come into the first team squad.
