THE MAGPIE GROUP has announced it will be staging a protest at the running of Newcastle United by Mike Ashley at his beloved company’s operational HQ at Shirebrook. As neither Ashley or any of his employees in executive positions at United will respond to correspondence from THE MAGPIE GROUP regards the running of the club and discuss progress in selling United and how supporters can support efforts to achieve a sale, it would appear these actions are the only route available to supporters to get Mike Ashley’s attention.
THE MAGPIE GROUP will be organising some transport of its own to Sports Direct, Shirebrook in Derbyshire but I am certain others who wish to travel independently or organise their own transport will be welcomed too.
TRUE FAITH supports this action 100% and we will be participating in the protests and would encourage as many supporters as possible to travel to Shirebrook for what is a peaceful protest.
