Revolutionary Latin America 2014: class war, social movements & elections Leaflet
PUBLIC MEETING – Revolution in Latin America: Eyewitness accounts from Ecuador, Venezuela and socialist Cuba.
Including a report from the 2013 World Festival of Democratic Youth & Students in Quito, Ecuador in December and a insight into what 2014 means for the Bolivarian Revolution and its relevance to us here in Britain.
In December 2013 activists from the Revolutionary Communist Group (RCG) and supporters of the newspaper Fight Racism! Fight Imperialism! (FRFI) travelled to Quito, Ecuador to attend the 18th World Festival of Democratic Youth & Students. The delegation spent two weeks in the company of revolutionary youth from across Latin America developing an understanding of the vast social movements sweeping the continent, their inspiring achievements and the challenges they face in the coming year.

Break the British media blockade: Join us on the 5th February for eyewitness accounts from Ecuador, Venezuela and socialist Cuba and to look at what 2014 means for Latin America’s ‘Bolivarian Revolution’: from the Colombian peace talks and upcoming elections in Bolivia and Ecuador to the student movements in Chile, the fight for socialism on the streets of Venezuela and the vital role of socialist Cuba. They are fighting for a real alternative to racism, war and poverty – for a collective socialist society. Their fight is our fight! Come to the meeting, break the blockade, join the fightback. Another world is being built!
