Coming this Autumn/Winter season, we see the arrival of CP Company, one of the worlds 
most renowned casual brands.
The brand itself was created relatively recently, only 40 years ago in 1975 by Massimo Osti and since then has manufactured over 40,000 garments. Since its birth, CP Company has gone from strength to strength with Osti at the forefront, even whilst he was also bringing to life brands such as Boneville and Stone Island in the early 80’s. Osti introduced the world to a variety of unique styles, including rubber flax and rubber wool, the Mag Defender and more famously the colour changing Ice Jacket. Even after Osti passed away in 2005, his legacy was continued with the Massimo Osti Archive, a book dedicated to the ‘Godfather of Sportswear’, which includes over 50,000 fabric samples and textiles as well as 5000 garments from over 300 garment finishing companies and textile mills from around the world.
Every piece the company produces is designed using their own sophisticated fibres and innovative technologies, including being put through the process of their experimental dye and printing workshop. The company believes this makes each piece individual and unique compared to many other brands available in today’s market, where fashion is known as an iconic symbol of each persons personality.
With the brand expected to arrive at Northern Threads in early August, we have decided to bring you a sneak peak of the CP Company collection from one of their latest look books, an ideal way to excite yourself for the new arrivals!

Northern Threads is a premier outlet for designer clothes with an international reach but which is based here on Tyneside.
Northern Threads has two stores based in central South Shields. Both are a short walk from South Shields Metro Station at Fowler St. (adjacent to the Denmark Centre) and on Ocean Road opp. Kirkpatrick’s Pub.
For those travelling to South Shields by car there is loads of cheap car parking nearby and the Morrissons Car Park is FREE on Sunday.
