Many of you will know that NUST (Newcastle United Supporters Trust) has now got an offshoot,JUSTNewcastle‘(Junior Supporters Trust).
JUSTNewcastle has an overall aim of trying to help kids have a close affinity with both the football club and our great City, to hopefully ensure the future support of Newcastle United.
Amongst the initiatives NUST and JUST have backed and continue to give their support to, is encouraging as many local kids as possible to play football, and also to have access to football coaching and tournaments. Particularly children living in areas who might not otherwise be able to afford football coaching.
To this end JUSTNewcastle have partnered with Newcastle Community Football (NCF) to help subsidise many of their activities working with local children, enabling as many as possible to take part and feel a closer affinity to both the sport itself and hopefully Newcastle United on a more local level.
Amongst the activities JUST have helped to facilitate are;
Free’ 4 day soccer schools for 30 children in underprivileged areas.
A Free 16 school tournament (8 players) each in Summer.
Currently coaching in over 50 schools every week – Newcastle/Gateshead/North Tyneside and Tynedale – est 2000-2500 kids per week.
Soccer schools in holidays – which reach up to 1200 kids.
Over 20 after school clubs.

Newcastle based comedy circuit regulars Gavin Webster, John Scott, Lee Kyle and Seymour Mace, have come together to provide a great evening of comedy to cheer you up after the end of the season; with all profits going to help subsidise the kids’ football initiatives above.
The more money we raise, the more kids we can help.
