Newcastle United Supporters’ Trust ran their annual player of the season survey and this year’s winners, were Daryl Janmaat, Player of the Season and Ayoze Perez, Young Player of the season.

There can’t be very many supporters who would disagree with that selection in what has been a disappointing season. These players in their first seasons at United have been shining stars in the darkness.

These awards have been voted upon by NUST members and as such are the only awards tobe provided by supporters.

Both players  are pictured here with their awards before the last game of the season versus  West Ham at St James’ Park on 24/May/15.
