There are a few links between us and Fulham. Sir Bobby Robson played and managed Fulham whilst Geordie heroes Super Malcolm McDonald, who was born in Fulham, and Aaron Hughes, played for both clubs.
Below is Super Mac banging in five for England against Cyprus in 1975.
We play at home this weekend against The Cottagers but I have always enjoyed my visits to Craven Cottage. Fulham seem to be a homely club and their ground is a bit of a throwback to a bygone age so with that in mind here’s a few bygone clips. The first a cup tie against United in 1956, a nine goal thriller.

The second is a great clip of Fulham is of them training back in 1959, how things have changed, its pure nostalgia. Older readers will note the ex Match of the Day presenter, Jimmy Hill, is in both clips.

Jolly good show old chap!
