Sir Bobby’s Breakthrough Online Charity Auction kicks off by announcing the ultimate football fan experience
In 2011, Sir Bobby’s Breakthrough Online Charity Auction brought you Mourinho’s FIFA Ballon d’Or 2010 World Coach of the Year Trophy.
To kick off this year, the online auction has upped the ante – giving one lucky bidder the chance to attend the official event and mingle with football’s elite.
The latest item will see two lucky guests attend the FIFA Ballon d’Or in Zurich on 13 
January 2014* and be a part of football history. Who will be named best manager? Will Barcelona’s Lionel Messi claim best player for an unprecedented fifth year?!
The FIFA Ballon d’Or Ceremony recognises the best player and manager of 2013 as voted by international journalists, coaches and players. Attended by football’s biggest names, this auction item is the ultimate football fan experience and an opportunity to mingle with Sir Bobby’s peers and protégés.

Running from 10 – 27 October, Sir Bobby’s Breakthrough will raise crucial funds for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, Breakthrough Breast Cancer and cancer services within two Suffolk Hospitals.

The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation was set up by Sir Bobby in 2008 and he devoted the last 18 months of his life to it.
It funds projects within the Newcastle upon Tyne NHS Foundation Trust to help improve early detection and find more effective treatments for cancer.
It directly benefits cancer patients within the North East and Cumbria and contributes significantly to the wider, global fight against this terrible disease.
